Let's Make a Pretty Bible...and Read It!
Have you ever wanted to create something beautiful in your bible, but feel that you "aren't artistic" or "have bad handwriting"? Well, the call the press, because I will be the first to announce the God doesn't care what your writing looks like. He also doesn't care whether what you draw in your bible is pretty or not. What he WANTS is relationship with you. And He already knows you fully. What's next in building that relationship is for YOU to get to know HIM.
.
And the only way to do that is through reading His Word. I always recommend The Bible Recap to anyone starting out on their bible reading journey. I get it, it's a big book. There's a lot of names that are hard to pronounce. There's things that, at first glance, seem to make no sense.
.
But that's where the team at The Bible Recap (TBR) comes in. They do hours and hours of research for you, and condense it all into a daily podcast to accompany the reading plan they also share with you. You read the chapters that their assign, and then you listen to Tara-Leigh talk about what you read (in under ten minutes!) TRUST me, you will know more about God in a week than you do right now. And can you image what that relationship will look like in a year!?
.
But back to the pretty writing thing. If, during your reading of the bible, you DO have the desire to make your notes a little extra pretty, I have some beautiful printable templates you can use to trace onto your pages (or cut out and glue, or use as bookmarks) that will help you on your bible journaling journey. Add some colour and voila, now you too get to have a pretty book to look at as you learn more and more about our Creator and all the awesome things He has done and is still doing!
