The Resource Guide

I have been wanting to create a resource guide for a while now, to be able to share with you all my favourite tools and supplies that I love to use in my creative practice. I have finally finished the list, and am excited to share it with you!

One reason I wanted to share this list was so that you can maybe learn about some art supplies that you might not know about, but also to share you the broad selection of things that go into creating the work I make for your homes. I want to show that I use the best, and that the investment on my end is to help make the best piece of work for you. I want your paintings to last your lifetime, and hopefully beyond. That means choosing paints with high quality pigmentation (the load of colour in the paint is strong, and not watered down with many fillers). I want to paint on great quality canvases and paper, so they hold up to the paints, the pressure of the brushes, and to the life being hung on a wall. I want them to be able to passed down through generations, and still hold up.

It’s important to use high quality materials so that I can in turn offer you high quality work. I want you to have confidence that you are getting the value you paid for. Therefore, I will continue to get paints and supplies that carry that value.

I love to support my small art shops in Canada. Across the country, some of my favourites are:

Curry’s Art Materials, various locations in Ontario

Wyndham Art Supplies in Guelph, Ontario (so much love for carrying me through my university days)

Wallacks Art Supplies and Framing in Ottawa, Ontario

Opus Art Supplies, various locations in British Columbia

Check out my favourite supplies in the
Resource Guide.

On that page, you will be given full access to all the goodies, as well as access to a downloadable PDF! I have all my supplies linked, in case you want to try any of them out!
