Out of the waters, standing on the firm ground, feeling the wind blowing against me. It’s raging and the waters are rough. The clouds are heavy and moving fast. Coming in bigger, getting darker. I thought that coming out of the waters was going to be the new beginning, but the storms are still coming in. Thankfully, with feet on a solid foundation, I can take in the beauty of the storms, and see their strength and power and appreciate them for what they are and the lessons they will bring.
This collection is how I processed the emotions of the heaviness of the year, the moments of calm between the raging storms, and the hope that is here, and for what is to come.
