Enjoy The Little Things

Back in the day, when I still worked under the name Daughter Zion Designs, I would make phone and desktop wallpapers each month as a free download for free. Those posts would also be shared to Pinterest, which would link the viewer back to access the download. This download, in particular, went viral (in the 2016 definition of viral), which also meant that many were taking it for use in their own shops and products. Unfortunately, my friends and I would come across my painting and lettering on products all over Etsy. People took the download and made it into prints, stickers, mugs, and more. It was so disappointing. I would message these sellers, and most were apologetic and immediately took down their listings. However, there were others who pushed back a lot. Many claimed they did the work themselves, which was disheartening, since you could easily see it was my work. I still have the original painting and lettering, and much of their work had no deviation at all. i did have to call some people out on social media, because of their reluctancy to take down my work.

But here, I’m going to share this download once again. Yes, I run the risk of it being stolen again, but that doesn’t mean that everyone is dishonest. So please, use this phone wallpaper to bring a little joy to your phone, and all I ask that you keep it for personal use only.
