Christmas Prints...Delivered to Your Inbox!

Can you believe that Christmas is just over a month away? It's hard to believe since I've only had one day in the last couple weeks where I've needed a heavy coat. Living in Canada, this is definitely not the norm. Given this, it's really hard to wrap my mind around the fact that I need to get my butt in gear for Christmas.

So to help you too, in case you're running late like me, I've come up with quick gift solution for you. Digital downloads of my Christmas prints! After purchase, you get a link to download your prints, and then you just need to print it out and stick it in a frame, and voila! Christmas present done! No waiting on shipping and having to trust the postal system delivery times. No wandering down the aisles trying to find a good gift. And best yet, no waiting in lines at the cash, or on the road! Ah, the beauty of the Internet.

Another great idea for using your digital prints? Print them up smaller, and use them as place settings at your Christmas party. Elizabeth purchased one of my chalkboard prints, and shared them with her small group's holiday dinner! What a little treat to give your friends. The great thing about these digital can print them out as many times as you need to!

I hope that you are all having an excellent fall, and getting ready for Advent. I'm looking forward to digging into my Advent book from She Reads Truth this season. I hope that you too are able to find some time in this busy and wild season to remember the reason behind it, Jesus' birth.

New Products for the Society6 Shop

As you might have seen a couple weekends ago, I recently opened up a Society6 shop, which lets me get my designs onto more products besides prints and cards. It's pretty fun to see the different things that I can get my designs printed on. I love the mugs (although don't have enough cupboard space for more at the moment) and the pillows. I'm definitely going to have to get the new Gold Mountain Rose pillow ASAP, since I've given away the original canvas painting to some lovely friends.

Not only do I have stuff on Society6, but there's hundreds or thousands of other talented artists who also have their work on the products. I think that the tapestries are pretty cool... they make me want to head to the beach and lay out with friends!

Today there's free worldwide shipping available (through 4/26 at midnight PT) so I would definitely take up Society6 on this offer. Click on any of the photos in this post to take you to my shop products. And keep an eye out for more designs coming soon!

Grace Upon Grace - New Print in the Shop!

I've had this verse inked and saved on my computer for a while now, just waiting for the time to paint some pretties to adorn it. I just couldn't come up with something (I was also without spare time to make up anything!) I guess I was also feeling slightly uninspired. It's been so cold, and I've been working on projects that just aren't my style, and I was struggling to get back into my groove. So in the mean time, I was pinning inspiration florals to my Pinterest boards, to go back to at other times, times like this. Thank you Pinterest, for allowing to keep my hard drive free of all the images I want to hold on to for inspiration.

I chose to paint some little lilacs to go with this verse. Lilacs remind me of spring, and I love watching the new buds of all the new kinds of growth peeking through the snow and muddy ground, and popping up on the barren trees. It reminds me of grace, the grace from God. We don't deserve any of God's love, because we as humans are just awful, yet, He keeps giving it to us, no matter what the day looks like. Just like the new growth, grace looks out of place in our rotten filled lives. Somehow, God's love peeks through our rottenness, and we have the chance to grow, to bloom.

This print is now available in the Shop. You can get it three different sizes, mailed right to your home! Let it be a reminder of God's grace in your life too.

Pillows, Mugs, Tote Bags and More! DZD is now on Society 6!

I'm super excited to announce today that I've finally taken the plunge and created a Society6 shop! If you've never heard of Society6, it's a site where artists (like me!) can sell their work, but Society6 does the printing, packaging and shipping. But the great part is that you can get all the artwork on more than just paper! Now you can have pillows, mugs, clothing, even shower curtains with some great one of a kind artwork on them!

Currently, I have a few designs from my line available as prints, framed prints, stretched canvases, indoor and outdoor pillows, mugs and tote bags. I'm hoping to have some new designs available soon, which will allow me to expand my product line! Although I haven't ordered any of the expanded products just yet, I can tell you that the print quality on their Art Prints is amazing. The colours are so rich and pigmented, and the paper is nice and heavy, great for framing. I'm looking forward to getting a couple of the expanded line for our home soon too, so I can let you know what those products are like when they arrive!

Here's a sneak peek at my Society6 shop, but if you click on the photo below, it will take you right there, and you can look around for yourself! Be sure to check out some of the other artists too! My faves are currently: Corinne Alexandra, Jenny Highsmith, and Micklyn

New Prints! Winnie the Pooh - Smallest Things

I had the pleasure of going to a little boy's baby shower a little while ago, and I wanted to paint him something special.  He's the first born to a lovely couple, and I'm looking forward to seeing the young boy he grows up to be!  I decided that this original painting needed to be made into a print, so that it could be shared with other adorable babies (or anyone else for that matter!).  I thought that it would go great in any nursery, especially if any are Winnie the Pooh themed.

You can pick up this print for the next shower you are invited to, or to add to your own art collection.  It comes in three different sizes, all available in the shop HERE!
