I Want to Learn: 10 Things

I've been thinking about learning lately.  After going to post-secondary three different times, I know that I really love learning, but think that I'm done with formal institutions (and paying them so much money!)  But that doesn't mean that I want to stop learning.  I've realized now though, that the things that I want to learn aren't going to be taught to me by any teacher, or from any textbook.  Sure, I could look up a youTube tutorial here and there, or ask a friend (human, or God) for some help with things, but I think that some of these things I can (read: have to) learn on my own.

Today I wanted to share 10 things that I want to learn.  I wrote them all down in my new Moleskine Folio Plain A4 Book.  I love it's think pages, silky smooth paper surface, and it's large size.  It holds up to heavy applications of my acrylic inks, as well as letting pen and pencil just glide across the page.  If you are in the need of a new sketchbook, I highly recommend picking this one up.

Here are the 10 things I want to learn, in case you can't read them too well in the photo above.

1. to trust myself, my skills and abilities, and to be confident in doing what I know I can do
2. to knit (again!) and crochet, so I can make pretty things
3. to cook a roast, or a whole turkey or chicken, and do it well
4. to feel confident around strangers
5. to use a skill saw without assistance
6. to stop being so afraid
8. how to share my faith, because I can't find the words when I need them
9. more self-control and patience
10. to trust God in all situations, and to remember how to ask for help from Him

What's something that you want to learn?
